I am a trained clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist based in
South Benfleet, Essex; within easy reach of Basildon and Southend. I am also a Counsellor and an EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique or "tapping") practitioner with a BSc Degree (Open) in Psychology,
Social Science and Educational Research and a Level 4 CPCAB Counselling Diploma.
I have been working as a therapist since 2009 and have great feedback from clients who see me as
supportive and open-minded.
My office is private, spacious and designed to make you feel comfortable and
relaxed; there is off-street parking, air-conditioning and good disabled access.
Well, I have always found that people seem able to come to me for support
and find me easy to talk to and supportive. Plus on a personal note; hypnotherapy helped me to
quit smoking (and I was a heavy smoker for years!) and grow as a person.
I like to feel I am a sincere and compassionate individual and I am fascinated with the mind/body connection.
My chosen career is incredibly worthwhile; helping people prevail over problems or conditions that may
be holding them back and preventing them from being the best that can be. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are
great ways to help people communicate their personal emotions, in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, which
may otherwise be difficult to do.
I am professional and offer a completely confidential service but you will
still find me to be relaxed and friendly, and I treat each client in a
totally individual way according to their needs. My objective is to
use my various skills and therapeutic techniques to help you to take
control of whatever it is that you want to change.
I trained in Hypnotherapy and Hypno-analysis at the
Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis (EICH); a leading Hypnotherapy school in the UK run by
Terence Watts, one of the UK’s most highly
respected hypnotherapists.
In addition I have also carried out training in other hypnotic techniques with Richard Wain of Cressingham Coaching
and I have trained as a Level 3 EFT Advanced Practitioner with International tutor Alison Munro.
I have also completed a BSc (Open) Degree in Psychology, with Social Science and Educational Research,
and a level 4 Counselling Diploma focusing on the Person Centred approach as well as studying classic
psychoanalysis theory and various counselling methods.
However I am continually training to develop my existing skills and to learn
new ones in order to deliver the best options to my clients.
